| Restoration |
|
| Old paint and
putty are removed from the surface, cracked or broken
panes are replaced with the new ones. We can also install
double pane units into the old frame as may be necessary.
Modern acryl paints and linseed-oils are used for painting. |
 |
| In the old days
windows were built by hand out of the high quality dead-wood.
That’s why we use uniform wood while repairing or restoring
old parts. Locks, hooks, hinges, angle bars and such are
restored as well. |
 |
Window correct
packing is very important. If the low-quality window gasket
is installed, pane will sweat and the window won’t hold
the heat. We use only premium silicon-based gaskets, which
are famous due to the excellent durability. |
 |
| Instead of using
string fillet, we apply special putty under the pressure
to ensure the best heat insulation. During repair, window
is delivered to the workshop; window bay is covered with
the safety box (heated in the winter time) and then the
window sash is completely restored. |
